DIGITAL VISION SHOWING FINISHING TOOLS

LOS ANGELES – Sweden’s Digital Vision (www.digitalvision.se) is at SIGGRAPH with new technologies aimed at visual effects finishing, including those for native Open EXR high dynamic range grading and automated archive repurposing. New features include the ability to process in full 32-bit floating point per channel without any clipping. All tools have been implemented in floating point, including noise reduction and aperture correction, as well as grading and isolation tools.

The company has the latest version of its Film Master color grading system at the show, as well as its Phoenix re-mastering application, featuring standards conversion, detail enhancement, and automatic defect removal, as well as conform and primary grading capabilities. 

Digital Vision is partnering with Imagica to present its new O-gi image quality plug-in package for high-end compositing systems.
