Top talent, cutting-edge technology, TPN-compliant security and a welcoming, collaborative environment are essential for today's showrunners, directors, DPs and post creatives. With the industry demanding higher production value on tighter timelines, StudioPost (studiopostnbcu.com) - an NBCUniversal company located on the Universal Studios Lot - continues to invest in world-class talent, creative spaces designed for seamless collaboration, and technology.

The latest example is the newly-opened Stage 5 post facility, transformed from a 1930s-era sound stage into a modern hub for post production. This space brings sound mixing, color for streaming and broadcast, and DI under one roof, enabling creatives to oversee the entire process with ease. Three adaptable mixing stages accommodate television, streaming and feature projects. A spacious lounge with oversized windows floods the area with natural light, while nearby indoor and outdoor meeting spaces make long post days more comfortable and productive. Additionally, StudioPost's Building 3153 picture facility now features a renovated client lounge and expansive lobby.

This transformation began with the Hitchcock Mixing Stage, which debuted in late 2022 in the former Sound Stage 6. Beyond being a cutting-edge mixing stage for features and high-end streaming projects, the stage offers a two-story, open-air lobby with editing bays, private offices, kitchens and conference rooms, creating a dynamic, full-service post environment. All of these new facilities are made possible by our innovative engineering team closely collaborating with creative talent to deliver a superior post production experience.

These state-of-the-art facilities have hosted major productions, including DreamWorks Animation's Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie, Peacock's The Paper and Ponies, Netflix's Black Rabbit and Running Point, Amazon's Fallout, and NBC's St. Denis Medical.

While working on the lot, clients can also enjoy the new Commons building, featuring casual and fine dining options, three advanced screening theaters and a 4,500-square-foot event center that's perfect for wrap parties and receptions.
