MOUNTAIN VIEW PRODUCES HD SPOT FOR GE

NEW YORK - Mountain View Productions, with locations in New York and Altanta (www.mountainviewproductions.com), recently completed work on a two-minute high definition corporate video for General Electric promoting its GE Wind business.

The project was produced and posted in HD - using a Sony HD camera and an Avid|DS HD system - and serves as a longform commercial designed to introduce the renewable power source and its promise of clean energy. The video incorporates both footage of the technology and the giant windmills, combined with lifestyle footage of people enjoying the benefits of clean energy. The video is presented in a letterbox format and is being shown to GE's sales staff, as well as to communities considering adding the wind turbines to their power portfolio.

Lifestyle footage was shot in upstate New York, which is home to the largest GE wind field in the Northeast. Additional footage was shot on location in Salzbergen, Germany, the site of GE Wind Energy's manufacturing facility where the company assembles its 325-foot tall wind turbines which are capable of powering as many as 500,000 households.

The song "Something in the Air" by Thunderclap Newman helps reinforce the video's natural and Earth-loving tone.
