STOCKTON, UT - VASST (www.vasst.com), a Utah-based video, audio, surround and streaming training provider, and Sony are teaming up to showcase the Sony Media Software product line, providing demonstrations and in-depth training on Sony's tools in six different US cities. The free, three-hour events preview the new features, tools and workflow enhancements to Sony's Vegas 5, Acid Pro 4, Sound Forge 7, and DVD Architect 2 software. Eight-hour paid training seminars on Vegas 5 and DVD Architect 2 software will take place on the second day of each city tour.
Those who attend the free showcases will be eligible for an assortment of prizes and giveaways. In addition to a full eight hours of training, the cost of registration for the paid seminar includes a Vegas Software Tip Sheet, Loops for Acid music libraries, a DV Basics Guide, royalty-free video footage from Artbeats and discounts on product purchases.
Dates are as follows: New York City, June 8 and 9; Dallas, June 10 and 11; Phoenix, June 15 and 16; Seattle, June 17 and 18; Orlando, June 21 and 22; and Atlanta, June 23 and 24.
Showcases will be held twice daily - at 2:30pm and 6:30pm, on the first day in each city. The paid training seminars run from 8:30am to 5:30pm the following day.
