DIGITAL PROJECTION LAUNCHES 2K PROJECTORS

KENNESAW, GA - Digital Projection International (DPI) introduced two new 3-chip DLP(tm) Professional Series projectors with 2048 x 1080 native resolution, the HIGHlite 10000HD and 12000HD. Along with the company's flagship, the Lightning 35HD, DPI now offers three high-brightness projectors employing 2K resolution within its lineup of six Professional Series models.

The HIGHlite 10000HD and 12000HD, a small and light 2K x 1K resolution 3-chip DLP(tm) projectors, provide a combination of lumen output (10,000 and 12,000 ANSI lumens, respectively) and rich contrast of up to 2000:1. The combination makes the projector a solution for a diverse range of wide format staging applications, medium-to-large-venue system installations, scientific visualization, simulation and premier home entertainment.

The HIGHlite HD series projectors can support any video, HD or computer source, include four-side soft-edge blend and can be configured to incorporate advanced options such as seamless cross-fade and user-definable geometric warp. Active stereo 3D at resolutions up to 1400 x 1050 at 96 Hz is also supported.
