DISCREET CHANGES NAME

MONTREAL - Discreet (www.discreet.com) is transitioning its name and branding to better align with parent company Autodesk, Inc. In 1999 Discreet became part of Autodesk and today the company has more than six million users.

Discreet is closer integrating with Autodesk in order to better address customers' needs. Autodesk believes that this integration will enable it to develop technology faster and offer improved support, maintenance and training - ultimately better servicing customers and sales channels.

Discreet is now going to market as Autodesk Media and Entertainment. The Discreet name becomes a part of its advanced systems' names (Discreet Inferno, Discreet Smoke). Software and infrastructure products, such as 3DS Max, Combustion, Cleaner and Stone Shared are now called Autodesk 3DS Max, Autodesk Stone Shared, etc.
