GREYBOX ADDS TWO EDITORS

RICHMOND, VA - Creative editorial company Greybox (www.greybox.cc) has signed editors Ben Layman and Nick Wurz. In addition to editing, these next-generation talents bring extensive design experience to the company.

A designer and editor, Layman is experienced in the print, web and television media including corporate identities, CD covers, direct mail advertising and private and retail websites. Prior to joining Greybox, Ben worked at a variety of media publishing companies including Console, Sequent Media, Biznet and the Richmond Times Dispatch. At Greybox, he blends an interest in graphic arts and design with television advertising. In the fall of 2004, Layman collaborated with various local businesses, including Greybox, donating his design skills to advertising benefiting the Shockoe Bottom area of Richmond that was nearly devastated by tropical storm Gaston. This collaboration solidified his relationship with Greybox.

An editor and graphic designer, Wutz began using this talent in the professional arena as a freelancer working for The Martin Agency, where he directed and edited a variety of pitches, and on automotive commercials via the Park Group. It was his work at the Park Group and his relationship with The Martin Agency that drew the attention of the team at Greybox. Now at the company, Wurz deftly moves between Final Cut, the Avid and a palette of graphics programs to create commercials for national and local clients.
