NEW YORK - Post Logic Studios (www.postlogic.com) in Manhattan has appointed Manny Fernandez to the newly-created position of managing director. The facility opened in March 2004 with a focus on long-form work and has broadened its client base to include television and commercial projects. The facility recently added a second Spirit HD/SD telecine.
Fernandez brings with him managerial expertise in editorial, broadcast design, visual effects and digital asset management. Most recently, he founded The Oranj Group, a creative editorial and design company based in New York, Miami and Los Angeles servicing the US and international Hispanic markets. Previously, Fernandez served as COO of New York's Creative Content Artists, where he oversaw the operation of seven companies in businesses ranging from music and visual effects to design and interactive facilities.
Prior to that, Fernandez founded and operated Miami-based Simpaticode, a media-management company specializing in audio and video encoding, media archiving, asset management, and content distribution via the Internet and new media.
Modern Post editor Graham Patterson recently cut Camila Cabello's new music video, Godspeed, which features the artist singing to the camera just off the shoreline, where she's partially submerged.
