NEVADA CITY, CA - Thomson has changed the name of its broadcast & media solutions business to Grass Valley. Known for creating the Grass Valley broadcast and film production products used by media leaders worldwide, the division also produces video compression and networking, and professional audio/video products and services.

The Grass Valley brand is being applied to all activities of the division - including the Web site. The company's URL is shifting to and all traffic to the former Web site will be automatically directed to the new site.
