According to Blue Room CEO/executive producer, Chris Gargani, the challenge was to create the spot using mainly still images from a client-provided press kit, along with Digital Betacam footage from last year's event. Hawaiian imagery - mountains, palm trees and ocean scenes - was used to establish the tropical location where the skills event is taking place. The Pro Bowl Skills Challenge lets some of the NFL's best players compete in contests of strength, passing and kicking abilities.

Gargani says the studio spent two weeks developing the concept for the project and three weeks actually producing and posting it. Adobe After Effects was used to manipulate the still imagery, creating a 2.5D effect. NewTek LightWave and Autodesk Maya were also used for animation. The spot was edited on a Mac-based Avid Adrenaline system and was mixed using the studio's Digidesign Pro Tools|HD digital audio workstation.
