A beta version of the Rimage Blu-Ray DVD publishing system
was one of the featured products at the event. Three “Solution Stations” were
set up, each addressing a particular need of the production workflow and each
including a software partner that was attached to the Rimage DVD publishing
system.
The “Automated Authoring & DVD Publishing Solution” set up included tools
from Rimage and Pulse Digital. The “DRM Solution,” which provides invisible
watermarking, was a combination of Cinea and Rimage tools. And the “Automated
Archiving Solution” for archiving audio sessions and video content partnered
the Rimage unit with tools from Storage Quest.
The first Rimage Blu-ray DVD publishing system is being
tested by Ascent Media.
Media Distributors CEO/founder Steve Klein and president Richard Myerson, noted
that customers regularly ask the company for assistance and for ways to help
them improve their production workflows. In conjunction with strategic
partners, they said, Media Distributors has developed several workflow
solutions, which address these issues.
