Baerwald started his career as a design assistant at design firm Pittard Sullivan. He spent time abroad too, overseeing spot work for Nissan in Tokyo, Japan. He joined TBWA\Chiat\Day as an office coordinator and, over his 10-year tenure, moved his way up to producer, working on projects for Sony PlayStation, ABC, Taco Bell and Nike. Now at 72andSunny, he is currently producing for Xbox and Avia, with both spots slated for release later this year.
