He's also a highly sought after music video editor, having worked with Staind, Justin Timberlake, No Doubt, Sting, Alanis Morissette, Elton John and Lionel Richie. He was recognized in 2003 with the MVPA Best Editor of the Year Award for Timberlake's Cry Me A River.
Since joining Room, Mares has edited Say Anything's Alive with the Glory of Love video, as well as an upcoming video project for Nine Inch Nails.
