CURIOUS PICTURES SIGNS MIXED-MEDIA ARTIST OSBERT PARKER

For the past three years, Parker has been crafting two short films that are receiving acclaim on the film festival circuit.  Film Noir was nominated for best short animated film by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in 2006, and also was an official selection at the Cannes Film Festival. It was included at the Telluride Film Festival as well, and won the top prize for best animated short film at the Chicago International Film Festival last year. 

Parker followed that up with Yours Truly, which won Best Animated Film at Aspen Shortsfest, the Academy Award qualifying short film festival held last month in Colorado. The film is in contention at many of the upcoming 2007 film festivals.

His commercial credits include visually-driven spots for Budweiser, Coca-Cola, MTV and Nike.
