FINAL FRAME EXPANDS FINISHING SERVICES

Final Frame provides finishing services for documentary and programming clients that include the National Geographic Channel, the History Channel, A&E and HBO. The studio has also worked on the indie films No End in Sight, Murderball and God Grew Tired of Us.

The new Film Master system was put into service to grade the short film Les Vulnerables and the independent feature The Missing Person. The studio also has plans to use it for DI and grading of the independent film Sleep Dealer.

Final Frame’s Film Master system was installed on the company’s Storage Area Network, enabling the studio to conform and grade projects in parallel. Support for broadcast media and metadata exchange, including AAF compositions, MXF media and Apple QuickTime, as well as codecs such as Avid DNxHD, give the studio the ability to color grade and finish file-based media edited on Avid and Final Cut Pro systems natively, without transcoding or playing to VTR tape.
