HPA TO HOST SECOND ANNUAL AWARDS THIS NOVEMBER

The HPA Awards were launched last year to highlight the contributions of talented individuals in the post production industry. Winners included the compositing team from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest; Stuart Bass, the editor of Arrested Development; and commercials for Jaguar. Engineering Awards were also presented to Digital Vision, MTI and Sony. And veteran Emory Cohen received an "Outstanding Contribution to Post Production" award.   

The 2007 HPA Awards will recognize excellence in color grading, editing, audio post production and compositing. Special awards, including one recognizing Outstanding Contribution to Advancing the Field of Post Production and the Engineering Excellence Award, will also be presented.
