PARTICLE MARKS 1ST ANNIVERSARY, PLANS EXPANSION

The room is slated to open in the first quarter of 2008 and will be nearly identical to Particle's existing room, allowing projects to move between the two studios with no sacrifice in listening quality or client comfort.

Bryan Rheude, co-owner of Particle and Comma Music, says the studio have broken from the age-old mode of being dark laboratories to more creative and inspirational ones with natural lighting.

The new room will be approximately 450 square feet and will run the latest version of Digidesign's Pro Tools on an HD3 system. The studio will be set up for 5.1 surround work and will be available for ISDN sessions. An extensive collection of sound effects and needle-drop libraries will also be on hand.
