EDITOR JEFF FERRUZZO DONATES SERVICES TO 'HOMELESS' PSA

Presented in black and white, the PSA features homeless New Yorkers, reading a magazine article that details mayor Michael Bloomberg's failure in solving the city's homeless crisis.  While many of the personalities are older men, there are a number of children presented too. At the end of the PSA, a surprising stat is revealed: that the average age of a homeless person in nine.

Director Gary Lankford and Lankford Films produced the project, shooting with the new Red digital cinema camera. The shoot took place on a Sunday on Catherine Street and Monroe Street in New York City. In addition to serving as editor, Ferruzzo also acted as colorist. Berwyn Audio's Eric Thompson mixed the project, which features a sparse piano track by Manhattan's Face the Music.

The PSA is airing on the E-Health Network throughout New York and on CBS.
