ENGINE DESIGN LAUNCHES, COMPLETES 'ENTOURAGE' PROMO

One of the first projects produced by the studio is a promo for the hit series Entourage. The program's characters are visualized in a comic book-style that was illustrated by hired-hand Ian Slack, who rendered the concept drawings in marker. Engine Design then conducted a live action shoot with body doubles of the show's stars to capture the physical nature of each for the animated graphic illustrations. Publicity and show stills were pulled to serve as photo references for the faces of their comic likenesses. Finally, a team of illustrators replicated Slack's style in Photoshop, laying images over a rough cut until the final project came to life.
