SAE TO OPEN OXFORD CAMPUS THIS FALL

The new Oxford campus will constitute more than 14,200 square meters and will serve as the institution’s global headquarters.

The campus will be based in Littlemore, Oxford, and will offer residences for international students, as well as state-of-the-art facilities. SAE founder Tom Misner recently relocated to the UK in order to oversee the development of the new headquarters.

SAE is spending more than $23 million to update the old Littlemore hospital, which will serve as the new campus. Another $15 million will be spent on the company’s London college later this year. The Oxford campus will have teaching facilities; individual workstation areas for students; recording studios, including one capable of hosting an entire 88-piece orchestra session; student accommodation; and an extensive library.

The campus is scheduled to open in October of this year. At press time, early construction had begun. Equipment purchases have yet to be finalized for the featured studios.
