44 BLUE LAUNCHES PRESIDIO POST & PICTURE PERFECT
44 Blue Productions (www.44blue.com) is working on 14 current series, including MSNBC’s Lockup, truTV’s Stringers: LA, A&E’s LA Gang Unit, and Style Network’s Peter Perfect. Presidio Post will provide offline and online editing for all of 44 Blue’s shows. The post house will also be open to work from outside production companies.
Picture Perfect will function as both a camera/audio equipment rental company and a stock footage company, handling both SD and HD stock photography. 44 Blue has created its own library and also collaborates with videographers throughout the country.
"We shoot pretty much every day across the country and around the world", notes Rasha Drachkovitch, president/co-owner of 44 Blue. "It is a natural evolution for us to create a high-end stock footage library with a wide range of visuals – from prisons in China to hurricanes in Florida – and provide the equipment needed to create such images.”
The company will continue its partnership with Alan Ett Music Group, whose original scores will be used in 44 Blue’s programming and will also be available for licensing.
