AICE AWARDS HONOR TOP EDITORS

Editors Livio Sanchez and Derek Swanson of Ascent Media Group’s Filmcore both took home awards for their work. Sanchez won in the “Best Music Video” category for his work on Gnarls Barkley’s Who’s Gonna Save My Soul. Swanson earned top honors in the “Best of Detroit” category for the Ad Council spot Cheerleader. Swanson cut the spot through Mad River Post, Detroit. It encourages fathers to spend time with their children.

Neil Gust of Outside (www.outsideedit.com) in New York was honored for his work on Jaguar's XKR-S. The video took the top spot in the "New/Emerging/Alternative Media" category and portrays the new Jaguar as an extremely sharp and sophisticated vehicle, much like one the government would develop out of sight of the public’s eye. Cuts and the car’s motion closely connect with the retro rock-inspired track.
