AJA SHIPS IO EXPRESS
Io Express works with both Macs and PCs, and serves as an inexpensive monitoring and mastering solution when working with Apple ProRes 422 and ProRes 422 (HQ), XDCAM HD, and DVCPRO HD formats, among others.
The unit features HD/SD SDI input and output, HDMI 1.3a input and output, HD/SD component analog video output, and two-channel RCA audio output. In addition, the Io Express supports LTC Timecode I/O and RS422 machine control.
Its small size – 1-RU tall, 1/2-RU wide – makes it portable, and it can be operated via AC or batteries. The unit is currently shipping with Mac driver software for $995. Windows driver software will be available soon as a free download.
