ENVY & CROSSROADS MAKE SWATCH SPARKLE

As each golden-silhouetted character throws their ball, a sparkly comet trail follows. An explosion of metallic glitter is released upon impact. The spot closes with a golden snowball hurling toward the camera and exploding into a shower of sparks that reveal the beautifully-lit Perles D'Encre Swatch.

Envy worked closely with Harvey in the studio, monitoring the blacked-out set and gold glitter snowballs. "It was a very messy shoot in that glitter covered everyone and everything," recalls Harvey. "While technically challenging from various angles, we were able to come up with a number of techniques that simplified and sped up the process."

Eddie Yanez of Point Blank in London created the original soundtrack. Simone Grattarola at Rushes served as colorist.

Envy credits include (lead VFX) Marcus Dryden, (Nuke) Olivia O'Neil, (VFX support/particle generation) James Knopp, (3D) Howard Bell, and (producer) Rachel Stones.
