PROJECTIONDESIGN SHOWS 3D WORKFLOW
Projectiondesign has added an LED illumination option to its Cineo32 DLP projector. The ReaLED technology is unlike traditional lamp designs in that it does not require periodic lamp replacements. As such, it can be run for years with only the most basic maintenance.
Cost of ownership is therefore more predictable, and less energy is used during operation.
Assimilate's Scratch provides tools for realtime data management, conforming, color grading, previewing, dailies, playback, rough cuts, and finishing. The software served as the center of 3ality Digital's digital workflow, and was used to post the U2 3D feature film. Walden Media also used Scratch to post Journey To The Center of the Earth 3D, and clips from this movie are among those being shown to IBC attendees.
Also being shown are outtakes from My Bloody Valentine 3D, a reel from Pamplona-based multi-dimensional imaging specialist D4D Ingenieria Visual, and a sample from Archangel, an independent film shot with stereo Red One cameras.
