QUANTEL FOCUSING ON STEREOSCOPIC & FILE-BASED WORKFLOWS

One application of this virtualization concept is the ability for Final Cut Pro editors to now benefit from the fast Quantel sQ server workflow. This includes being able to edit clips that are still being recorded. Instant playout of Final Cut edits is also possible.

On the Stereo3D front, Quantel is showing how its iQ and Pablo systems are allowing post facilities to make money today. Also featured are Stereo3D analysis and correction tools from 3ality Digital's SIP2100 that can further boost productivity.

The Pablo color correction and finishing system sees improvements at the show, including the new Cubebuilder feature that allows users to build, manipulate and apply 3D look-up tables within the system. Red's Red Rocket application for decoding and debayering 4K R3D files in realtime is also being shown running on Pablo.
