SMART POST ADDS TO 5.1 SERVICES
Smart Post has ADR and Foley stages, as well as editorial bays. The dubbing stages are outfitted with JBL surround monitoring. A stereo output from a Pro Tools system can be run into the Penteo/RT box and then run back into six channels of Pro Tools to create a surround track. The Penteo 5.1 mix automatically snaps back to the original two-channel mix when presented in conventional stereo settings, so stereo compatibility is not an issue.
