THE MILL RE-ENTERS THE FILM BUSINESS

Mill Film has a history of success in the feature business, having provided hundreds of shots for the Harry Potter films and receiving the Academy Award for its work on Gladiator. In recent years, however, The Mill has focused on the television market, particularly advertising.

The "Mark II" version of Mill Film, says Robin Shenfield, CEO of The Mill, will operate on more of a boutique scale than in the past, and will serve as a partner on film projects, rather than in the lead vendor role it often held.

The studio is already contributing to a number of film projects, including director Annabel Jankel's Skellig, Tom Hooper's Dammed United, and Jordan Scott's Cracks.
