A broad spectrum of industry talent was on hand to get their eyes on Dolby’s first foray into imaging with their PRM-4200 Monitor. The host for the evening was long-time post industry veteran, Bill Admans, director, product marketing, imaging, Dolby Laboratories. Dolby had set up four viewing pods in order for the guests to see images from capture to finish. To help demonstrate this, Arriflex was on hand with one of their Alexa cameras
The monitor can display a wide color gamut, including P3 with support for 1D and 3D LUTS via its control panel. The list price of the monitor is $54,950.
