Assimilate offers Scratch and Scratch Lab rentals

SANTA CLARA, CA – Assimilate, which makes DI and dailies tools for digital cinema, episodic television and spot workflows, has made its Scratch and Scratch Lab products available for rent via its Assimilate online store (store.assimilateinc.com).

They can be rented for a day or up three months, allowing artists to pay for the systems as needed. According to Steve Bannerman, VP of marketing at Assimilate (www.assimilateinc.com): “Scratch Lab is the first production dailies product to offer true pay-as-you-use rental options that are available online anytime, anywhere. It can’t just be about product speeds and feeds anymore. It has to be about fitting the new way on-set professionals work- making them more productive and helping them make money.”

Pricing for rental license activation is as follows (all prices are USD and include maintenance and support during the activation period):

The new rental options are only available through the Assimilate Store with a major credit card or PayPal account. In addition, all rental customers are now able to view, manage and extend their licenses through the new My Assimilate online portal (http://myassimilate.assimilatesupport.com).

The Assimilate Store is an online marketplace for Assimilate products as well as, third-party software and selected hardware accessories.
