Sound Ideas launching hard drive products

TORONTO — Sound Ideas (www.sound-ideas.com), the publisher of royalty free music and sound effects, will launch two new music hard drives at NAB 2012. The products fall under the Tune Drive banner.

Tune Drive 1 includes 36 production music CDs and over 1,000 music tracks ranging in style and musical genres, including Easy Listening, Drama Film Scores, Rock, Classical, Corporate, Dance & Club, Sports, New Age, Jazz, Tribute, Comedy & Cartoon, and World Music.

Tune Drive 2 pulls together more than 2,000 music tracks from 50 production music CDs for almost 50 hours of production music covering 18 genres and styles. Both of the Tune Drive products include full and broadcast length royalty free music tracks, provided as 16-bit/44.1 kHz broadcast wav files with embedded metadata.

“We developed the Tune Drive concept to help our clients who are moving away from physical CDs and DVDs to the purely digital work environment,” explains Brian Nimens, president and CEO of Sound Ideas. “The same great production quality and attention to audio fidelity that we bring to our award-winning sound effects libraries is reflected in our production music products.”
