Editors' Lounge to showcase Adobe & EditShare solutions

BURBANK — The Editors’ Lounge returns this Friday for the last installment of the season before taking a summer hiatus. On June 28 at 6:30pm, AlphaDogs Post Production will host the event at its studio, located at 1612 W. Olive Avenue in Burbank. This edition of The Editors’ Lounge will showcase the latest updates from Adobe and EditShare. 
 
Adobe’s Premiere Pro software quality engineer, Peter Garaway will demonstrate new features that will be available soon with Adobe Premiere Pro. The redesigned timeline with intuitive track targeting and dozens of new shortcuts brings a new efficiency to video editing.
 
Demonstrating updates to After Effects and SpeedGrade will be Adobe’s senior solutions consultant pro video, Colin Smith. Attendees will be given the opportunity to see how they can create natural-looking composites without needing to key specially shot footage. SpeedGrade’s new shot matching feature uses overall color imagery in automatically correcting subtle differences in footage while maintaining a consistent feel between scenes permitting faster and more efficient workflows.
 
Senior workflow specialist, Kevan O’Brien and IMAX editorial supervisor, Matt Scott will show off the latest in shared storage solutions from EditShare. Production environments can now be more productive and creative with Flow Production Asset Management.  Everyone in the production chain can now collaborate from start to finish of a project.
