Composer Bruce Aronson joins NYC's PRG Post

NEW YORK — Composer Bruce Aronson has joined the team at PRG Post (www.prg.com) in midtown Manhattan. After working from his Long Island beach house for many years, Aronson decided his clients would be better served if he were based in New York in a location where they could have all of their post needs addressed in one place.

PRG Post is a production center and post facility that’s home to 10 Avid editing rooms with 64TBs of shared storage. The facility has two color grading rooms and a 5.1 surround sound audio mixing room, and can properly finish content for television or the Web. They’ve also produced for live events. PRG also offers offsite equipment rentals and technical remote services.

“As a composer, it’s a pleasure to work in an acoustically-engineered control room, and to have a live room for recording acoustic instruments and vocals,” says Aronson. “Clients are thrilled that I am back in a facility where last minute changes to music tracks can easily be made. Plus, it is a major advantage to be just a few feet away from PRG Post’s 5.1 surround sound audio mixing suite.”

“Now we can offer original music services to our clients,” adds PRG Post VP of post production, Bob Barzyk. “Productions that already come to us for our edit rooms, color and mix services can now get the help they need with music composition all under one roof.”
