SANTA MONICA — Director Fede Ponce has signed with Bangers and Mash agency, London and Berlin, for worldwide representation. The agency will represent Ponce for feature films, television and branded entertainment, as well as for the packaging of a number of feature, television and VOD projects currently in development.
Ponce began his career in motion graphics, visual effects and trailer design. His trailer work included such superhero franchise films as Thor, the Dark World and
Iron Man: 1, 2 and
3. His main title concepts include work for
The Avengers franchise. He also has experience directing video game cinematics and commercials. Because of his experience and strong relationships with VFX companies, Ponce is able to transcend the digital field and integrate his work with practical effects houses.
Ponce is currently in development on two projects — the first Sebastian's Odyssey, a high-concept sci-fi series for streaming services.
Sebastian's Odyssey is set in a peaceful future where unmonitored dreaming is punishable by death. It focuses on a rebellious orphan who must enter the dream world in order to find his long lost brother. The second project is
Mexico Lindo, a horror-comedy feature film for the Hispanic market.
