Jordan Meltzer promoted to mixer at Eleven

SANTA MONICA, CA —  Eleven (www.elevensound.com) has promoted Jordan Meltzer to mixer at the boutique audio studio. An LA native, Meltzer got hooked on sound and began gravitating towards the craft after seeing The Who perform at the Hollywood Bowl at age 9. He played in bands while growing up in the San Fernando Valley, eventually completing his BA in audio post production from Emerson College.

After joining Eleven as an intern, he climbed the ranks and took on a newfound role as assistant mixer, building his portfolio on a variety of films and commercials. Some of his client work includes projects for HP, Dodge, Disney, FitBit and Sam Smith. His contributions lead him to a recent promotion as mixer and sound designer.

“Jordan is truly one of the most talented and creative people…period,” says Eleven’s executive producer, Melissa Elston. “His skill and ability is beyond that of many industry veterans, yet he remains humble and hungry to be better than the best. With his keen ear, creative mind and artistic style, prepare to be impressed. His cool & casual demeanor rivals his perfectionist personality, so much so that you're guaranteed to leave your session with the best audio mix while having shared a few laughs in the process.”

“Climbing the Eleven ladder has been fulfilling, satisfying, and challenging,” adds Meltzer. “I remember sitting in the studio as an intern…trying to learn and absorb it all. I always saw myself sitting in the chair and it’s truly an honor to now be recognized as a mixer at such a warm, supportive, and creative company.”
