Music Video: Miley Cyrus — Malibu

SANTA MONICA & NEW YORK CITY — Arcade’s (www.arcadeedit.com) Paul Martinez recently completed the edit for Miley Cyrus’s new music video, Malibu. The piece features breathtaking visuals of Malibu’s beaches, waterfalls and rock formations, intertwined with a relaxed and casual performance by the pop star, who enjoys the beach setting, its rocky cliff, the ocean breeze and gentle waves.

Martinez collaborated closely with director Diane Martel of Hound Content on the project, which runs 3:48. The video was shot using an Arri Alexa Mini at 23.98fps and 40fps. Martinez edited the video using Avid Media Composer V.8.4.5.

Adam Parker served as producer for Arcade, and Andy Trecki assisted. The Mill’s colorist Gregory Reese helped create the final look. Skulley Effects handled visual effects and the conform.
