Assistant Editors' Bootcamp to present October Webinars

BURBANK, CA — Assistant Editors’ Bootcamp (www.assistbootcamp.com) will host a Webinar and in-person training session on Saturday, October 20th, titled ”Assistant Editing for Scripted Television.” The program is designed to teach beginner to intermediate assistant editors about scripted television workflows, including paperwork, dailies, temp sound and music, and basic VFX editing. The all-day class will be presented by working assistant editor, Emily Streetz and will cost $300 for those who want to participate in-person and $250 for those watching online.

In addition, Assistant Editors’ Bootcamp is offering “Premiere Pro for Features and Commercials” on Sunday, October 21st. Taught by Matt Latham, the class is for those who are interested in making the most of Adobe’s NLE for use on feature films, short films, and commercials. The class will show participants how to customize the editorial experience, organize projects, handle all kinds of footage, create polished effects, and instantly integrate with the rest of the Adobe suite via Dynamic Linking. Pricing is $150 for in-person participation and $100 for the Webinar.
