Atlanta's Utoka adds motion designer Charlie Erholm

ATLANTA — Motion designer Charlie Erholm has joined Utoka (www.utoka.co), the creative agency that was recently launched by CCO Ed Dye. Utoka is a design-driven boutique that takes a collaborative approach to developing visual identity-driven brand strategies and concepts with deliverables across multiple platforms.

Erholm graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in motion design. She was selected by Cartoon Network to work as a digital design intern in her senior year. The stint at Tuner provided her with real-world experience in the industry and an opportunity to hone her motion and design skills on a mix of on-air promotions and campaigns for Boomerang and Adult Swim.

"Growing our arsenal of top-caliber talent is a key component of Utoka’s business plan," notes Dye and CEO Michael Zarrillo, the company’s co-founders. "Charlie represents the next generation of motion designers, committed to growing as an artist, and brings a level of passion to her craft that makes her a great fit with our team."

Erholm's talents have recently been tapped by national clients, including GMC and Phillips.
