Creative Storage Conference to look at AI tools during June 7th event

CULVER CITY, CA — The 2018 Creative Storage Conference (www.creativestorage.org) will present a session on AI and other tools for workflows when it takes place this Thursday, June 7th, at the DoubleTree Hotel West Los Angeles in Culver City, CA. Today is the last day for early on-line registration.  

There will be four keynote talks and six sessions during the conference, as well as a sponsored reception in the evening. 

“Rise of the Machines: Digital Storage and Security in Media and Entertainment Workflows” will take place at 3:45pm and will look at new tools for protecting, organizing, finding and accessing content. These include software defined storage, including micro services for networked storage systems as well as optimized local storage. Media asset management has developed new ways to organize and find content. At the same time, providing security for value able media asserts on digital storage devices is an important industry issue and making the best use of digital storage resources drives many content retention discussions. This session will explore the latest developments in storage optimization, content organization and search, storage virtualization and data security.

Speakers during the session the will include Yoram Tal, colorist and online editor; Robert Russo of Avid; Jonathan Bourke of Translation LLC; and Jeff Stansfield of Advantage Video. Other panelists will include Jonathan Halstuch of RackTop Systems and Brandon Oliver of Huge.
