Boris FX's Sapphire plugins to support Autodesk's Flame

LAS VEGAS — Boris FX (http://www.borisfx.com) Sapphire visual effects suite will soon be available as an OFX plug-in for Autodesk Flame. Autodesk’s upcoming 2020 release includes new support for OFX plug-ins, marking a significant transition for the advanced 3D VFX and compositing software.

Technology previews of Sapphire 2019 OFX plugins working inside the future Flame 2020 release are available at NAB.

Autodesk Flame and Sapphire have a long history together, as Sapphire Sparks was the first product created by GenArts (now Boris FX). Adding OFX plug-in support to Flame 2020 opens up many more creative opportunities. Artists can now take advantage of Sapphire’s Effect and Transition Builder to easily create custom effects. Plus, teams can share their presets between all of Sapphire’s supported hosts for a more streamlined workflow across departments.

Sapphire 2019 for Adobe/OFX is available for $1,695.
