NEW YORK CITY — FilmLight and Light Iron are teaming up to present a free, one-day course that looks at the fundamentals of color grading, color spaces and media management — all in Baselight v5. The event will take place at Light Iron’s studio at 580 Broadway (8th floor) on Wednesday, October 23rd, and will run from 10:00am until 5:00pm.
The course will combine demonstrations of techniques and features, as well as hands-on exercises. Participants are recommended to bring a laptop compatible with Baselight Student, FilmLight’s software-only MacOS application. Baselight Student will be used during the day for practice sessions. Those who register will be sent a software licence and media package before the course.
