Roland releases iOS editing app

LOS ANGELES — Roland (www.roland.com) has introduced a new app for producing videos using iOS devices. The 4XCamera Maker App lets users shoot, edit and publish videos without the need for an expensive cameras or computers. 

The app streamlines the production process and limits the need for multiple takes by allowing creators to connect their iPhone or iPad, and up to three additional iOS devices. They can shoot multi-camera video in just one take. Once captured, it only takes one tap to upload the footage to master devices. 

4XCamera Maker includes simple-to-use and easy-to-apply editing tools. Users are able to work in split-screen layouts, incorporate transitions, fade in and out media and trim footage on their iPhone or iPad.
 
Edited videos are saved immediately to the main device, so they can be easily shared with others or posted to social media.

The app is free, though full editing functionality is available via a small in-app purchase. Alternatively, as well as improving the sound quality of projects, users can connecting the app to Roland's Go: Mixer or Go:Mixer Pro to unlock the full editing functionality, without needing to upgrade.
