LONDON — On Tuesday, August 4th, Foundry will host a Webinar looking at “Black Perspectives” in the visual effects industry. Three professionals will offer insight into their career journeys — from the early days starting out, leading up to their current roles.
Director, filmmaker and compositor Mark Pinheiro will be joined by XIVFX’s senior compositor Courtney Pryce and Dneg VFX producer/TV central production manager Anne Akande. The panelists will discuss the steps they made to get to where they are today, as well as the challenges they’ve faced during their careers. Foundry project manager Damii Dada will moderate the Webinar, which is set to run for an hour and 15 minutes. The goal is to present an open and honest dialogue about accountability in the workplace, mental health and allyship.
