Jim Geduldick joins virtual/XR production studio Dimension

PORTLAND, OR — Cinematographer and creative technologist Jim Geduldick has joined virtual/XR production studio Dimension (www.dimensionstudio.co) as senior VP, virtual production supervisor and head of North America. The announcement comes as Dimension - which is based in London and Newcastle - is expanding to meet increased demand in virtual production for film, drama and sports around the world. Dimension is pioneering virtual, volumetric, mixed reality and LED production techniques in an effort to provide more efficient and creative solutions for film and TV content creators.

Based in Portland, Geduldick is known for his work as a cinematographer, director and visual effects artist. His credits include work on projects for Epic Games, Intel, Google, GoPro, Red Bull, Nike, Adidas, Nat Geo and Hulu, among many others. He has honed his skills across media and entertainment by working on features, broadcast TV, music videos, documentaries, virtual reality and action sports films.

At Dimension, Geduldick will lead the company’s North American presence and spearhead its virtual production and XR ambitions in the US. He will supervise productions for clients and partners, and work closely with film studios and filmmakers to drive craft in the rapidly-developing discipline of virtual production.

Dimension recently teamed up with Dneg, Unreal Engine (Epic Games), Arri, Roe LED, Mo-Sys, 80six, Brompton Technologies and Malcolm Ryan on LED stage production tests.
