Orlando's Ty Fy Studios supports local charity with holiday music

The Orlando-based sound company partnered with The Mustard Seed of Central Florida to raise money and give back to those in need. Founded over 30 years ago, The Mustard Seed is a non-profit organization with a mission to help rebuild the lives of families and individuals who have suffered disaster or personal tragedy by providing household furnishings and clothing while being environmentally responsible to our community. The soulful performance of Stevie Wonder’s “Heaven Help Us All” features the talented Gerry Williams on vocals, Roger Butterley (guitars, vocals), Katrina Rick (vocals), Matt Brown (drums), Chris Queenan (bass), Tim Heintz (Organ), Jim Abbott (piano) and Luis Conte (percussion). The track was produced by Ty Fy Studios’ owner Dan Fontana.

The second release is a folk/rock cover of “Soul Cake”, inspired by Sting’s rendition of the holiday folk song “A’Soulin”, written by Peter, Paul and Mary. This song features the Ty Fy Orchestra, with Dan Fontana on the lead vocal, and welcomes the addition of Eric Hansen (guitar), Alex Stelzner (vocals) and Lindsay Fontana (vocals). 

Both songs are available for streaming and digital download from all digital retailers online, including Apple Music and Amazon. One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit The Mustard Seed of Central Florida. The studio also encourages those who can to make donations directly to the organization, as no gift is too big nor too small, and every bit makes a difference.
