Rock Paper Scissors now representing editor Carla Luffe

NEW YORK CITY — Rock Paper Scissors (rockpaperscissors.com), with studios in New York and Santa Monica, has signed editor Carla Luffe for representation in the US. Luffe quickly established herself as a leading young editor in Scandinavia, known for work that is simultaneously contemporary, graceful and emotionally pronounced. She frequently collaborates with international commercial directors, and has credits that include work for Volvo, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Vogue and Sephora.

Beyond advertising, Luffe edited writer/director Gustav Möller’s 2018 suspenseful crime drama, The Guilty, which was selected as the Danish submission for Best Foreign Language Film at the 91st Academy Awards. Luffe began her career at Zentropa Entertainment after graduating from The National Film School of Denmark in 2015.

“Carla is a very modern editor whose perceptive work fits perfectly within Rock Paper Scissors and the MakeMake studio,” says Angus Wall, founding partner and editor at Rock Paper Scissors. “She works so seamlessly across all forms. We are extremely proud to introduce her here.”

“I’ve known everyone at RPS for a while, but I’m excited to focus my time here and make it my home,” dds Luffe. “Our intention was to begin this journey a little sooner, but something larger than my travel plans forced me to rethink. Without further ado, I’m thrilled to finally join my family at RPS.”
