MARINA DEL REY, CA — Arvato Systems’ Vidispine team will host a webinar on Wednesday, September 16th highlighting the challenges and solutions required for remote post production workflows. The “Remote on a Boat: Workflow for Post-Production in the Covid Era” webinar will take place from 11am-12pm (PST) and will include live remote editing demonstrations.
Guest speaker Brian Hathaway, post production supervisor and owner of UTK post production, will appear live from his boat in Marina Del Rey, CA, to show how to create editing projects remotely in Adobe Premiere Pro using EditMate, the application at the center of the Vidispine solution for production asset management (PAM). Hathaway has 20+ years of experience in production and post production, with a deep technical knowledge of both departments.
A live feedback loop with the ‘customer’ will also be presented as part of the demonstration.
In addition, Adobe’s senior business development manager Van Bedient will provide an update on what is new in Adobe Premiere, and the Vidispine team will demonstrate the latest features and functions for remote collaborative work, including ingest and transcoding, metadata and remote editing.
