BROOKLYN, NY – Independent animation house Augenblick Studios (www.augenblickstudios.com) has hired Carrie Miller to serve as chief operating officer. The studio is known for its work on The Jellies,
Ugly Americans, and most recently, Netflix’s
Headspace Guide to Meditation.
Miller comes to Augenblick Studios after serving as vice president at Frederator, where she managed all digital production for their original cartoon series, including Slug Riot, (not)Hero, Chris P. Duck, and Shadowstone Par. She also managed the production and programming of their YouTube properties, including The Leaderboard, Get in the Robot and Channel Frederator. In her new role, Miller will oversee all production, development and partnerships at Augenblick Studios and its subsidiaries. She will work closely with founder Aaron Augenblick to advance the studios' vision and distinctive approach to animation.
Augenblick currently has shows in development for HBO Max, FX, Adult Swim and PBS.
