Motion Impossible release firmware update for Agito remote dolly

BRISTOL, UK — Motion Impossible’s (http://motion-impossible.com) Agito remote control modular dolly has gained a number of powerful new features as the result of a free firmware upgrade that’s available to all users. Dubbed Nova, the new firmware introduces repeatable movements to Agito, provides a more ergonomic and streamlined user interface for the system’s remote control, and signals toward the future direction the company plans to take Agito.

Developed following consultation with end-users, the firmware has been redesigned from the ground up to make Agito operation more intuitive for users. The introduction of a repeatable moves mode adds new capability into the Agito’s toolkit in both free-roaming and track operation, providing five memory banks of three minutes each.

A newly-unified UI now includes a dark mode; the ability to quickly switch between Sports, Trax and Repeatable Moves mode; realtime speed feedback to show how fast the system is moving; additional control mapping; enhanced Tower controls; and advanced steering modes, including steering angle hold for a perfect circle without a track.

“We are delighted to be releasing the Nova firmware, which highlights the increasing maturity of the Agito platform and provides some powerful new functionality for our growing number of users,” says Rob Drewett, Motion Impossible CEO and co-founder. “Nova also provides us a robust platform to build on for the future, and we’re looking forward to add some exciting new features in the coming year.”

Nova is now available as a free download.
