Senior colorist Vincent Taylor joins Harbor

NEW YORK CITY — Harbor (https://harborpicturecompany.com) has added Vincent Taylor to its artist roster as senior colorist. Prior to joining the studio, Taylor served as senior colorist at MPC Shanghai, senior colorist at MPC NY, head of color & senior colorist at Chimney NY and senior colorist at The Lab, Sydney. A 20-year veteran, Taylor has worked across all genres, including advertising, features, episodic television, music videos and documentaries. His early background as a cinematographer in his native Australia earned him a trusted rapport with a number of high-profile directors, including Paul Hunter, Doug Liman, Noam Murro and Shawn Levy.

“I adore my job as a colorist, and I relish the opportunity to continue to grow with Harbor,” says Taylor. “I am excited to be surrounded by its incredible group of colorists, engineers and producers, and the entire Harbor team, who love storytelling as much as I do.”

Taylor’s advertising collaborations include work for Bentley, Coca-Cola, Porsche, Mercedes, New Balance, Sky TV, VW, BMW, Nike, and L’Oréal. He will initially work out of Harbor’s New York location and will then relocate to Los Angeles in the new year.

“I am particularly impressed by the high-level craft artistry, skill and vision Vincent offers filmmakers, brands and agencies alike,” states Harbor founder/CEO Zak Tucker. “His deep understanding of narrative, lighting and lensing make him an ideal collaborator for cinematographers, filmmakers and creatives. This holistic approach aligns with Harbor’s focus and philosophy of considering and iterating color prior to the first day of photography and all the way through editorial, post production and delivery.”
